Works are progressing well, helped today by C's dispatch to childcare, and the inlaws swelling our labour force. Along the way we've confirmed that the house was built by the Dodgy Brothers (and their cousin Shiel B Rite). Tiles and mirror stuck on with small dobs of adhesive, no wall insulation, nothing supporting the bath edges, silicone supporting the window sill. Amazing it lasted this long.

This morning we had our last shower in the big beige monstrosity. It was a moment of delight when we hurled it out of the trailer and into the tip dumpster this afternoon. Tomorrow the plumber comes, so it (hopefully) won't be too long before we're bathing in our beautiful new white rectangular bath.
