A little bit of the progress we've made (click through to Flickr and All Sizes to view in larger size).
Feels like we have done so much work (I even broke a spade in the process) and it's made such a difference, but there is still plenty more work to be done before it's really finished and we can sit back and relax more completely.

Tomorrow a couple of established trees will arrive (in blistering heat! with more holes to dig!) to fill the gaps, and then there are pathways to be formed, garden beds finished off, and rain needed to fill the water tank. In the meantime we are already thoroughly enjoying it (but not happy about whatever it is that's eating the strawberries that we are so carefully tending...).

ReplyDeleteI am experimenting with "disqus" but haven't quite got it to work yet.
Unless I am very much mistaken you wouldn't know from whom this comment comes unless I would tell you that my name is Bengt and my site is Flarnfri schalottenlök.
Kind regards
Bengt (aka Erwin Klipspringer)
you have been busy! it looks great - I love the deck design
ReplyDeleteWow, this commenting system IS weird, isn't it!
ReplyDeleteI'm impressed that you broke a spad! What on? I really miss home grown strawberries, but I am not over the constant fear of biting into a millipede, neatly coiled inside. Ick.
