Today I...

 Playdough
1) Used my kitchen helper to make play dough. Excellent recipe here (Funnily enough there isn't one on the Kitchen Aid website, but the dough hook did do a great kneading job).
2) Hung out the washing to dry in the fresh autumn sunshine.
3) Spent a lovely afternoon with the kids and Grannie at the Botanical Gardens, enjoying an ice cream from the cafe and a good run around in the Children's Garden.
4) Had confirmation that my husband needs to have his gall bladder removed. In the very near future.
5) Am looking forward to doing a little bit more pink-ish knitting this evening.

  1. Sounds like a lovely day - 'ceptin' the gall bladder bit of course.

  2. A lovely day! The children's garden is such a delight, I'd quite like to move in.

Don't worry too much about the gall bladder removal - i found it the most straightforward of operations, a single night in hospital and I went home to my own house, living alone straight after. Bending over is no good for a few days, but aside from that it was a very rapid recovery.

  4. The girls and I watched a TED video about turning playdough into simple (seriously simple) electrical circuits this week.

Thought you and yours might enjoy it...
